Pickleball Chilliwack Spring Tune-Up Invitational Tournament at Yarrow Community School. Tournament date: April 28, 2013. Time: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Dave and I attended this tournament with about 35 players. Tournament Directors: Gord and Denise Griffin. Tournament format: round robin. Each participant played about 6 games. I won a beautiful wine glass engraved "Spring Tune-Up 2013" with my Womens Doubles partner Judy Newman. Lunch was delicious with appetizers, soup, cold cuts and cheese, salad, rolls and desserts. The Community School is brand new, spacious and modern, the gym has four courts with acrylic surface and lots of room behind the baseline. The tournament was well run with great food and very friendly players.
