New Year's Day Polar Pickleball in Canada
New Year's Day Polar Pickleball at Yale Court, Abbotsford, B.C. About a dozen brave Pickleball players played two hours of pickleball on 3 outdoor pickleball lined courts. Players include Dave, Grant, Gene, Ken, Pat, Matt and Pat, George and Claire and two junior players (Grant's son and Gene's son). Temperature was -3C at 10 am, Grant put salt to melt a little ice off the courts and treated everyone to Tim Horton's coffee and hot chocolate. Dave brought two USAPA portable nets, Gene brought a portable net that was a Christmas present. What a great way to celebrate New Year's Day! Canada not only has New Year's Day Polar Swim, we now have New Year's Day Polar
